Stephen F. "Hoss" Limoges, Sr., 68, a retired Senior Aide for the Rhode Island Supreme Court, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer for 7 years.

He was the beloved husband of Marie T. (Vosa) Limoges for 49 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Ann B. (Anderson) Limoges.

Stephen was the beloved father of:

• Stephen F. Limoges, Jr. and his wife, Ashley, and
• Michele M. Limoges-Grimes;
• devoted Papa to
  • Harrison "Harry" J. Grimes,
  • Tessa M. Grimes, and
  • Ellie Jo Limoges.

He was the brother of Michael E. Limoges, Sr., and his wife, Eileen. Stephen was a member of the AOH Newport, RI, Irish Kings, RI Police Officers Emerald Society, and was instrumental in the creation of the RI Irish Famine Memorial.

He enjoyed classic cars, hunting, fishing, and loved all things Irish.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 will be appreciated.
